AOL has made a change to way it is filtering incoming mail. This change has adversely affected some of our clients, especially those who are running some very active mailman lists. You can read more about these changes at the following URL:

http://postmaster-blog.aol.com/2013/05/06/new-spam-filtering/

It is important that you read the comments made to this blog post. AOL acknowledges in their blog post that this change will affect legitimate users and this is clearly the case with us and with others via the comments made. We have put in several support requests into the AOL Postmaster as per their instructions, but we have not received an update to date.

Our suggestion at this point is to make sure you adjust your bounce settings for your list in response to this new change. You may want to encourage your AOL members to subscribe to the list using a non-AOL email address. We also suggest that you instruct your AOL members to contact AOL themselves to complain about this new policy.

May 29th Update:

This issue should be resolved according to the communication we received from AOL. We have also whitelisted all of our IPs with them.
