Yesterday, we installed a new module for our billing system called cPanel Extended. This new module will allow our shared hosting clients to manage some of the more common cPanel tasks right through their client area account. Tasks such as creation of email accounts and ftp accounts, viewing web traffic, etc. can now be easily accomplished through your client area account instead of logging into cPanel. This will allow our clients to limit the need to use multiple logins to accomplish a number of cPanel tasks.
The following tasks can now be done via our client area instead of having to log into cPanel:
- FTP Accounts
- Databases
- Subdomains
- Parked Domains
- Addon Domains
- Email Forwarding
- Cron Jobs
- Stats: Latest Visitors, Webalizer, AWStats
- Unban IP Addresses from our firewall
- Login to Webmail
- Login to cPanel
- Change cPanel Password
- Domain Forwarding
- Password Generating Functionality
We will be posting an article in our Knowledgebase that will show you how to access these new cPanel functions within your client area account. cPanel Extended is only available to those clients who have an active shared hosting service. Mailman only clients will not have access to cPanel Extended.
