How to setup a subdomain

Our shared and WordPress hosting services comes with unlimited subdomains. Subdomains are capable of running websites, mailing lists, and email. A subdomain looks something list sub.yourdomain.com. You can use any subdomain you want.

Here are the steps to create a subdomain via cPanel:

1. Log into cPanel

2. Click on the Subdomains icon in the Domains section of cPanel

3. Add the Subdomain in the Subdomain text box

4. Choose which domain to have this subdomain part of in the Domain dropdown box

5. If you want the subdomain to point to a separate website then put in the folder name in the Document Root text box. This is the folder on the server that the subdomain will point to. You will add your website files to that folder.
