Sometimes a plugin or theme that you are considering using for your WordPress website requires a certain version of WordPress. This article shows you how to find out what WordPress version you have running your website.
- Login to your WordPress Dashboard at https://yourdomain.com/wp-login.php
- Within the At a Glance section of your WordPress Dashboard, you will see a text saying "WordPress "version number" running ThemeA theme."
- Alternatively, you can click on Updates in the left hand menu and you will be taken to the WordPress Updates page. On that page your WordPress version will be display. This page will also let you know whether or not you need to update your version of WordPress. Do we recommend keeping your WordPress site up to date for security purposes.
