How to reset a password for an email account

There are times when a user will no longer remember their email account password for instance if they are switching to a new computer or their existing one has crashed and all of their login information was wiped out. This article will show you how easy it is to reset a password for any email accounts you setup within cPanel. Let's get started:

1. First log into cPanel.

2. Click on Email Accounts within the Mail section of cPanel

3. Look for your email address in the list on the Email Accounts page

4. Once you find it, to the right of it on the same row, will be a box with an icon that says Manage. Click on that to access a page that contains a number of functions including the ability to change the password (reset) for the email account.

Always remember that your full email address will always be the account username.
